Things are pretty rough on Nyx‘s planet.

I never really got #shipping fictional characters until I started the Bel Dame Apocrypha and knew that Nyxnissa so Dasheem and Rhys Dashasa NEEDED to be together.

Sure, in the last book when Nyx showed up in Rhys‘ life his [redacted] were murdered and his [redacted] were hacked off by the women hunting Nyx and he made Nyx swear a blood oath she would never find him again...

but that don‘t stop me drawing ❤️ around their names in my notebook.

I feel obligated to inform these secondary characters that if the first 2 books were anything to go by, their life expectancy dropped precipitously the second they joined Nyx‘s team.

To balance out the super-dry economics book I‘m reading, I‘m working on the 3rd book in a series about female bounty-hunters and shape-shifters (see above) on a predominantly Muslim planet full of giant bugs on my Kindle.

I almost never do this, but I‘m going straight from book 2 into book 3.

Apparently this one has Nyx running with the Bel Dames again after two different factions of the female bounty hunters tried to kill her (and succeeded) in the last book.

She got better, by the way.

Finished Rapture, finished series. The gender flipping got good and explicit at the end. Full review over on Goodreads.

Finishing up this series, hoping for some dirty Nyx/Rhys action.
