Eh I read this for an IG buddy read & wasn‘t impressed. The MC was annoying & the author did not give nearly enough details in her world building for me to know what in the world was going on. An intelligent girl from a bad background that ends up on an isle w/ other misfits who are training to be vampires (males only) & watchers (females only). What are watchers you ask? Why male/female split? No idea. Hunger games vibes, but not in a good way.

This is not one I would normally pick up but it was part of my #cupidgoespostal gift so I gave it a go and I am so glad I did. I was enthralled from the first chapter and couldn't put it down. Lucky I am at home recovering from surgery so I had all day to read it. Thank you @Lauredhel I loved it.
