What a great middle grade graphic novel duology. In this follow-up to Compass South, twins Cleo and Alex continue their adventure at sea, running from pirates, learning their history, and nursing their father back to health. Cleo struggles with the constraints of her gender and both siblings work toward establishing their own identities. A fun read!

This #middlegrade #graphicnovel duology began with Compass South and follows the continued adventures of twins Cleo and Alex, who took to the high seas to find their father. Pirates, long-lost families, treasure, and dastardly villains galore!

(Also yes, my boyfriend did build a Lego ship in a bottle, meaning he built the bottle around the ship 🤦🏽‍♀️)

398.2 Sounds great! 7y
