Mehso-so

Reread. Queer cozy mystery.

As much as I give this book/series an average rating, it ends up being good for rereading when I need something cozy and reassuring.

Both characters are competent and kind, and neither gets in their own way as far as a developing relationship. Although the characters weren't all vibrant, the story--and mystery--held together, and the whole thing is a nice escape from reality.

Pickpick

The village of Lindenshaw is in a flap when an applicant for the position of head teacher at the village primary school is murdered during the interview process. Hope you don't encounter this kind of shenanigans @Andrew65 ! This was an enjoyable cosy mystery of the police procedural type - strictly no amateur sleuthing - with a little PG13 romance thrown in. I've already started the next in the series.

Freespirit That's a great title😍 5y
