Huh? This really wasn't for me. I started out liking it but then it turned into nonsense and I didn't care about it at all.

Pickpick

#Septembowie Day 19: Because this is a modern-day retelling of the Orpheus and Eurydice lovestory with an urban twist - it is perfect for #ModernLove. Deliciously strange and with a pain that is visceral you will ache after reading it. - Here is a fragment of my review found at GatheringBooks.org

?????? I just? What is being said here???

lilredhen I could only assume the author was trying to recreate a specific accent in text. That was the only thing I could come up with when reading this. Good read overall, though. 8y
Guiltyascyn @lilredhen Yeah, I figured "bliddly" was probably bloody, tek" being take and what not, but everything was way over my head. 8y
lilredhen It took me a while to adjust to the dialogue because the syntax is so weird. I'm a midwesterner, though, and use "y'all" in context, so I might not be an unbiased commenter on using regional slang in writing lol 8y

Very odd book but I'm a sucker for a retelling of Orpheus and Eurydice. Really fitting style no matter how odd it was.
