The Dinner by Herman Koch & Psycho II by Robert Bloch are tied for my worst read of 2018. I hated both of these & it is rare for me to ever hate a book. I'm going to try and attempt to block these two from my memory! #WorstReads

1) Nothing really photo worthy happened, but I am about to give myself the rare treat of delicious Schwan's ice cream. 🍦🍨😋
2) 1 audio & 1 physical. I haven't had much energy to physically read lately.
3) No, except sometimes in the morning.
4) Nope
5) Most recently I struggled through Psycho II, it was altogether awful and it did not flow or fit with the original at all.

There were parts that were good, but overall it was bad. The story reads as a B rated horror movie, it's hard to believe that it was written by the same person who wrote Psycho. It is also clear that Bloch is very bitter towards Hollywood.
The characters are one dimensional & Norman is barely even in the story. For the most part it was boring & cliche. Of course, the story was somewhat outdated, but that's the least of its issues.
TW for rape.
I'm big on horror but I had a tough time with all the rape and the pseudo trans science in this one. Since I've got a pretty big TBR pile for October I'm gonna go ahead and call it quits on this audiobook and move on.
