This is the first David Walliams book I read with my daughter. We took it in turns to read a page each and we both fell in love with Walliams story-telling. This book was funny, sad, heart-warming and I‘m glad I got to share it with my daughter ❤️

My first ever book by David Walliams and I loved it.
Having always had a soft spot for Ronald Dahl, I thought I would pick up this and give it a go.
Made me laugh and broke my heart at the very end.
I cannot wait to read more.
