Robin Hood is the best-loved outlaw of all time. In this edition, Henry Gilbert tells of the adventures of the Merry Men of Sherwood Forest - Robin himself, Little John, Friar Tuck, Will Scarlet, and Alan-a-Dale, as well as Maid Marian, good King Richard, and Robin's deadly enemies Guy of Gisborne and the evil Sheriff of Nottingham.

That was a fun, adventurous read. A collection of stories of Robin Hood from when he first became an outlaw to when he died.

Between work and school, I finally finished this book and I loved it. I did not expect such descriptive writing and fun adventure. The dialogue was difficult to follow at times. One thing I‘ve notice that today‘s books no longer have, is the way the authors from a different time would present the friendship between two characters. There was a sense of deep feeling. #robinhood#classic#t#goodreadschallenge

Spending some time reading this book! I must say, I didn‘t expect to like this book as I much as I do. There‘s plenty of action and adventure that keeps me turning the page! 😊. #litsyclassic#currentlyreading#robinhood

Yet another book I'm finally getting into because of a literary inspired web series that's based on it. Merry Maidens will start this summer (I think) and I'm really looking forward to it. I've had this book at least two decades and I have read the first chapter for about six times but never made it past that. Except today, bc I'm already almost 100 pages in 🙌
