Cathythoughts I‘m interested now in the word “hopscotch “ .... I wonder where it came from .... must investigate 6y
Billypar I wonder if the 'scotch' part is significant as far as its origins? I've also never heard of 'Queenie', but it sounds fun based on the description! 6y

Got this book for my dad from the library. So I read it along with him. Was fun asking him things about it and him telling me stories about things in the book. But without a doubt the most scary sentence was a group of Bishops asked the Taoiseach to ban women over 18 from leaving Ireland to protect their purity.
