Kind of a random book haul today, but I feel like I hit the jackpot with these finds! I especially love finding stories from my childhood that I loved. My mom used to subscribe to indie children's book publishers who would mail us books every month and I also had a lot of hand-me-down books from my sister, so finding any of those titles again is super fun. 🤍

If you don't know about the 45 days of recent protests in Venezuela, please google it. This picture was taken yesterday during a sitdown protest in one of the main highways in Caracas that lasted 12 hours. A small library was set up and here you see one of the young frontliners of the protest (they cover up to protect themselves from attacks by the national guards and national police, and to avoid being recognized and persecuted) making use of it.
