Used bookstore finds from yesterday. I *hate* stickers on book covers, but it's hard to argue with trade credit options.

Is Foxfire a thing outside of southern Appalachia? Not sure. But these books are basically collections of traditions, folk lore, and practical knowledge from country and mountain folk in Appalachia. It's thorough and intimate and not at all other-ing.

I took this collection from my grandma's house when she died, but were missing book 4. Just filled in the series with a #4 bought off eBay! Bear hunting, fiddle making, moonshining, hide tanning...what's not to love??
