If 'Goonies' and 'Raven Boys' had a literary baby it would be this book.

I give it all of the stars. 10/10. A+. One of the best books I've read in a long time.

Seriously- just go read this. Right now! I'll wait...

But they all have their reasons for having to do it. Plus there's a bit of magical realism that is so perfectly subtle... Gah! ❤❤❤ 6y

This book surprised me. It was not about what I thought it was about, or maybe more specifically, it was about so much more. The writing is gorgeous and the characters well developed. I absolutely fell in love with Ruby, Anne, Elliot, Gabe and Charlie.

I loved the format of the treasure map, and the stances repeated throughout the story at the beginning of the chapters. Beautiful, at times heartbreaking, I know I won't forget this story.

This was brilliant. Tracey's debut presents such flawed characters and is such a sincere discussion of adolescence that made me feel all the feels. Magical realism, tragedy, young love, amd grief alongside hope. Oh and friendship. It gave me my fave fictional character fpr this year.
