#hugoawards reading over for the year, it's back to my usual fare of almost entirely women-authored books. Yay!

Psst! The GEEK ACTUALLY premiere is now live, and it's free directly from Serial Box. I had a great time with it.

I just discovered Serial Box has a GEEK ACTUALLY sneak peek on their app (or their website) if any of y'all want to sample it before the first episode goes live tomorrow! I love how they offer both text and audio versions for all their serials, too.

GEEK ACTUALLY, a new women's fiction serial, is off to a promising start! This first episode introduces the main characters and delivers heaps of tension as they deal with career woes, relationship drama, and the pressures women often face in geek spaces. The whole thing is thoroughly contemporary, too, with references to things like Slack, io9, and the last few Hugos.

It's well worth checking out when this ep goes live tomorrow.

I had a super busy day, but I finally have time to read! I'm aiming for maximum geek with THE SPECTACULAR SISTERHOOD OF SUPERWOMEN, my daily dose of X-MEN, and the first episode of GEEK ACTUALLY.

Serial Box, my favourite purveyor of prose serials, kindly let me sample their latest offering. GEEK ACTUALLY debuts tomorrow and follows five women united by friendship and geekdom. I can't wait to dig into the first episode at lunch!
