On Golden Pond | 
pickA local community theater is putting on On Golden Pond, and I‘m thinking about auditioning for it. I‘ve never seen it so I borrowed the play from the library and read it. It seems… fine? I‘m sure it‘s moving to see it performed. The script is definitely subtle. I think reading it made me less excited to audition, but we‘ll see.
CSeydel Yeah. It‘s a trite and predictable story, but the movie transcended that with incredible performances from Fonda and Hepburn. It‘s a very good movie but I think it is a little overrated as well because people were so charmed to see Henry & Jane Fonda playing father & daughter on screen. (edited) 2y
