#DecDays #SignoftheTimes Catching up on some challenge posts from yesterday. Two great nonfiction books I read this year are good examples of the sign of the times we live in. The tagged book talks about how emotions can spread to form a social condition or contagion & Disrobed shows how our choices in clothing impact the world. For both I featured avocado toast 'recipes' as my food pairing--its popularity is another sign of the times. 😋📚🥑🍞😆

Cinfhen Looking forward to seeing more of your amazing creations & posts in 2018 ❤️ 7y

This book is way too complicated to review in a couple of sentences here. For details, read my review but if you like science-y books about psychology & emotions you will likely find this one-centered around social contagions & how ideas & behaviors spread through groups-as fascinating & absorbing as I did. Paired w/2 toasts--Avocado w/Spicy Sriracha Mayo & Banana & Almond Butter w/Dark Chocolate Drizzle for my blog book tour review, link👇🏻 🥑🍞

JaclynW All three look great! 8y

Light dinner for a humid Friday night: curry-seasoned mahi mahi with marinated cucumbers with mint. This book is on my weekend reading list for a book tour review next week--though I'll require something lighter & fiction too, to round things out. What are you reading this weekend? 📚📚😀📚

SaraFair Have not had mahi in such a long time! My husband used to catch so much of it on his yearly fishing trip that we would freeze it for meals all year. He just does fresh water fishing now-😐 8y
DebinHawaii @SaraFair Yes. It's a good versatile fish. 🐟👍😀 8y
