I saw a documentary a few years ago that was a better narrative of the babuska's return than this book. Meh.

I decided to try out Better World Books and got these four for pretty cheap! Three are for my upcoming book club season, and the Winton is one I had my eye on, but I was pushed over into buying it after a lovely email from @MandaChittles - she listed it as one of her top reads from Australian authors.

RanaElizabeth Winton is an amazing author! 7y
ReadingEnvy @RanaElizabeth so far I've only read a non fiction book by him so I'm looking forward to it 7y
andrew61 I really liked Norwegian by night - an unusual crime novel but a good read. 7y

ReadingEnvy @andrew61 @EllieDottie I thought it was a particularly interesting pick for our book club as we don't usually read genre fiction. 7y
