Lasting change is also brought about #commitment. Right now we‘re in a place where legislation is being wiped away, with little thought as to the effect. I know people like to grumble about restrictions and they think that somehow business will be better if companies are allowed to do whatever they want, but it won‘t be. We seem to have forgotten what we‘ve already learned. So be ordinary, and do something extraordinary. #Quotsy #QuotsyJan18

TsundokuAleax As a history person the deregulation that keeps happening driving me crazy. People forget that is largely how the Great Depression and the most recent recession came about. People really need to pay attention in history and maybe school curriculum needs to do a better job of including some more modern history so people know this. 7y
jpmcwisemorgan @TsundokuAleax Agree. I personally like clean air, water, airplanes not falling out of the sky, and so on. No one wants to admit that the federal government is actually needed. There are too many people that think things can be handled at the state level but there are a lot of things that cross state lines. I think we‘re headed for at least another recession because some of these changes are not good in the short-term, let alone the long-term. 7y
TsundokuAleax @jpmcwisemorgan I keep seeing it as looking for short term gains with little thought to what they actually mean and not questioning if they really are gains. It can be so frustrating to see the lack of long term thought. Also agree on the whole state level vs federal here in the states. People seem to think that large corporations will help. Sadly in a stockholders world, that is not as much of a think as people want to believe. 7y
