Set in Switzerland. They are seemingly a young happily married couple, but when she goes back inside the house from the patio because one of their kids is crying, he puts down his glass of wine and walks off, i.e., out of her and their kids' lives, never to return. The novel follows their separate stories from there on in. I'm a little bit intrigued. Out in early October.
Finishing up this short novel, which I put aside when work got in the way. A well deserved moment of peace after a morning of work and an afternoon of playing domestic goddess: granola made ✔️Tomato jam made ✔️peach ice pops made ✔️ time to collapse 👍😁🍷📚
