The Case of the Case of Mistaken Identity
The Case of the Case of Mistaken Identity | Mac Barnett
2 posts | 1 read | 2 to read
Seventh-grader Steve Brixton is an avid reader of the Bailey Brothers series, and he’s about to get a chance to put the detective tactics he’s read so much about into practice. He’s out to solve a mystery being investigated by America’s most secret crime solving agency: the United States Department of Library Sciences. It will take all of Steve’s skills to navigate this story of intrigue and crime as he tracks down the missing quilt (yes, quilt) containing all of America’s secrets.

My middle school son and I listened to this audio book from the library together. It tells a clever adventure with lots of wit.

I'm listening to this for #oregonbattleofthebooks and it was perfect for when the kids started fighting in the car. Now everyone wants audiobook time.

I love how this book takes the cliches of the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew and embraces them in a hilarious way.
