Macker11 I think that the Magic Tree House series is such an important series for elementary students! This book seems to intrigue so many students and I think getting them hooked on a series is important for further reading! I love your idea about picture word cards to help out! Being able to understand the vocabulary is extremely helpful to the content of the story. 5y

DrSpalding Not truly science fiction more modern fantasy. This series while I know they are traveling in a magic treehouse… Is not focused on the time travel as much as it is other information in the story. Merlin missions… Picture word cards are very helpful! The website created by the publisher is the best possible resource for this series. 5y

Their adventures take them to ice cold Antartica, where they learn about happiness with the help of the Penguins. This book is one of the many magic tree house books that I absolutely love.
