I discovered a trio of M. Hulot books online which I got to share with my kiddos so this is actually a bookish post this year

Back to work on the morrow, thankfully with no students due in the classroom for a few months at least. It‘s going to be a weird school year, but tonight it‘s just me and M. Hulot on the beach at Saint-Marc-sur-Mer

My Summer Break officially ends today so tonight, as is my yearly tradition, I‘m watching Jacques Tati's Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot.

I‘m spending the last night of summer vacation in my traditional manner, rewatching Monsieur Hulot‘s Holiday.

It's back to work tomorrow so I'm spending this last night bidding summer farewell in my traditional way: rewatching Jacques Tati's 1953 Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot.

No beach trip this year due to the wonderful new little one, so I'm joining M. Hulot on his trip to Saint-Marc-sur-Mer.
