I really enjoyed the 2nd book to Carter and Lovecraft. Jonathan did a good job with rebuilding the world when the nazi's won the war in this folded universe. Inspired by HP Lovecraft stories. However it seems there is more to fix the fold; we were left on a cliff hanger and the 3rd book is in limbo.

The 2nd in the Carter & Lovecraft series has them in an alternate world where the Third Reich never ended. And if that wasn't scary enough you have the creepy factor inherent with Lovecraftian stories with maniac scientists, creatures from the deep, and a little bit of sorcery. Characters are full and fun and you're not always sure what they're gonna do. Rumor is this will be turned into a TV series, which I think, if well done, could be good.

"The sanctity of books always takes precedence over existential threats to reality."

Even if the book is the Necromicon apparently.
