This book seemed promising: a diary is found in the 80s that harkens back to colonial times along the Kenya/Tanzania border and the interplay of European, Indian, and African cultures. And in places, I was invested. But most of this was a slog that I only finished so I could check off #Tanzania. 🤷🏼‍♀️
