I really liked this! Much like Diet Cults, Wellness Project examines the sometimes contradicting advice towards optimal health. The author seeks to find a balance between health and hedonism. I found it humorous and helpful. Note for the audiobook: her voice is pleasant, but she says her Ts as Ds Manhattan = “Manhadden” Gluten = “gluden” “Moutdains” “godden” I found it a bit maddening 🙃

Listening to Wellness Project on my run today! Honestly surprised by how much I am enjoying it. The author tries different fixes over the course of the year and records how her skin, hormones and over all “wellness” are influenced by them while maintaining social and romantic relationships. While not the most original of concepts, so far it‘s Rather humorously told and the author is aware of her privileges and addresses this at the onset.

Part memoir, part self-help from a young woman struggling to live with an autoimmune disease. She tries out a variety of strategies to develop healthier habits while still allowing some guilty pleasures. I found a few helpful hints, but I don‘t have an autoimmune disease, so large chunks of the book simply weren‘t applicable.

Similar to The Happiness Project, the author takes on one wellness topic a month to lead her to a healthier life.
It was funny, fun to read and I learned a few things!

Facts: I went to drop off my kids books at the library today.
I am currently reading a new book that I bought last week. So could someone tell me why I picked up these two books at the library? I seriously think I have book ADD.
Excuse: I'm blaming it on this cool, gray and very windy day. I mean really could I just walk out of the library and leave these goodies there? .....Nope!!! #BookAddictConfession

EvieBee I‘m reading HOW TO FIND LOVE IN A BOOKSHOP and it‘s so nice! 7y
BellaBookNook @EvieBee It looks like just what I need right now. So I'm just starting it now while waiting at pick up! 7y
MamaGina A bunch of my library holds came in at once and my mom said "So, you had to decide which one to check out?" No, mom, I brought them all home!???? 7y
BellaBookNook @MamaGina Exactly! Too good to leave there.🤗 7y
