I have to keep rearranging my shelves to make space. Started a #readersfirst section.
America City was fantastic, 5/5🌟. A very scary read though, a bit too close to reality! If you like hard hitting, close to the bone Science Fiction, I recommend this.
A tea of tricolore pasta in cheese sauce with salmon fish cakes (just the pasta and sauce for the fussy 2 year old) and a continuation of this book. One of the main characters is currently having a moral dilemma which I'm finding really interesting reading as the opinions mirror those of a lot of people in todays society. #bookandfood
Moving on quickly to cleanse the awful dialogue of the last book from my mind. Read good things from other #readersfirst winners about this one!
Won this to review for #readersfirst
100 years in the future, the east coast of the US is disappearing under a series of hurricanes, there is a massive drought in the dust bowl and people are being moved to north america/canadian border and feel like refugees in their own country.
Won't say anymore that may give story away but very current and interesting, though scary read!
#currentread
Set 100 years in the future but very current....enjoying so far.
This week I'll be receiving a copy of America City from #readersfirst. I'm a bit apprehensive about this read, as the subject matter is startlingly close to our current reality, but I'm willing to give it a go. Anyone else receiving a copy? I'm planning on starting The Hanging Girl this weekend too.
