This is a mammoth book. Got a good chunk out of it today - which wasn't all that hard, really, cuz the story is so damn good!

David Lapham is, IMO, right at the top when it comes to pulp crime comic books. I just can't get enough! Hopefully they will collect his newer/current stuff in an omnibus like this one.

Next in the queue. Picked up as a recommended read during Saga comic's short (?) hiatus, and decided to commit fully to the full edition rather than more reasonable volume at a time.

Pickpick

There's no argument that David Lapham is one of the best cartoonist/storytellers in the medium, in part because not enough people know his work to argue with me about it. STRAY BULLETS is as criminally underrated as it is criminal. Carefully crafted, exhilarating, heart-breaking, and archly funny.
