Mehso-so

Not has good as past books I have read on Jack the Ripper. He repeated himself quite a bit. Some editorial mistakes as well. It's best to say, whoever Jack the Ripper was, we may never know. I do like reading about him though, due to the fact that for over a century he still intrigues us and I think my always.

Starting today. I don't know why I like reading about him. I guess because who he is has never been decided 100%

While it was interesting to read about the various men who were suspected to be Jack the Ripper, the author tends to repeat himself way too much. In fact, if you removed all of the repeated details, this book probably could have been condensed to a long article.

Pickpick

This was the perfect book to read before our Ripper tour (which was fabulous btw.) Roland did a great job of laying out the victims, the circumstances, and the more well known/likely suspects.

As for our tour guide, he was an avid Ripperologist who put his passion for the case into the tour.

LeahBergen So cool! 👏🏻👏🏻 6y
JazzFeathers Wow! So who are the likliest suspect? I'm both fascinated and annoyed that we will probably never know the truth for sure. 6y
Reviewsbylola If I remember correctly, our tour guide (an avid ripperologist) named Kosminski as his favorite suspect. He also was clear that the suspicions against Queen Victoria‘s physician, William Gull, were bogus, and I completely agree. The book listed quite a few suspects and the pros and cons for why they are and are not valid suspects. @JazzFeathers 6y

It wouldn‘t be a true vacation without a #bathandbook. Luckily Waterloo station had a Lush shop. 😂
