These Hands is about a young boy named Joseph and his grandfather who could do anything. Well almost anything. His hands could do most anything, but mis bread dough at the Wonder Bread factory. This is an inspiring story of a man who was told no and decided to raise his voice. He joined the civil rights movement and made sure that “any hands can mix the bread dough, no matter their color”. #UCFLAE3414F17

kenyanellie This book would be a perfect RA to teach students that they can do anything today because people came together to fight for their rights in the past. DeannaT96 This is so absolutely wonderful! I️ love the book and the after reading is just great. You could involve this in a history lesson and have kids compare and contrast what “their hands” could have done then versus now. 7y
