pickA new #picturebook not yet in the Litsy database (so I linked this review to another one I love by the same illustrator.) You can tell by the way the word “funeral” on the cover emphasizes the word “fun” that this is not a sad book. Norma practices her sad face beforehand; she does know it‘s a serious occasion. It‘s a heartwarming introduction for young children as to what they can expect when attending the funeral of a distant relative. 🇨🇦
