Pickpick

Circus Galacticus is literally out for this world. It is a SF about an orphan who is stuck going to a private school but has issues from out of this world. This is a fun story that I think kids can use their imaginations and enjoy this story as if they are there. I would use EL strategy 6 "continually monitor student comprehension" because this story can get confusing and is probably best to be used as a read aloud. TS-SR

SavannahP0930 UDL 3.2: "Highlight patterns, critical features, big ideas and relationships" it is easy to get lost in a story so it is important to point out the most important information. I couldn't find many lessons online but personally I would have students design their own circus and tell me who was in their circus and why. #ucflae4314f17 7y
SarahWynne Adding this one to my stack! Love to have an array of genres for students. Great job with your strategies! 7y
