School is in session! But this is no ordinary kindergarten class. Meet sixteen young giant panda cubs at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda at the Wolong Nature Preserve. The cubs are raised together from infancy in a protected setting, where they grow strong. I would use ESOL strategy 23 and create a graphic organizer that goes along with the text. The students would fill out the organizer as they read so they can remember and organize all the information. 7y
JordanHull I would use UDL principle 2.5 and allow the students to watch webcams of live pandas and see photos of local pandas. The link above has a lesson that incorporates the idea of watching pandas live and expands upon it. 7y
