"The Man Who Walked Between The Towers" by Mordicai Gerstein. A great book for students that gives a HF twist to a NF story. Gersteins book won a gold Caldecott award in 2004.

While this is not The Fault in Our Stars, this is another coming of age novel that enlightens the reader to love, loss, teen angst and the perils of living with OCD. After my nephew encouraged me years ago to read Green's YA novels, specifically Looking for Alaska, I have continued to read all of his work. They are all worthy of reading and this is no exception. #ucflae3414f17
This New York Times Best Seller is an eye opening HF account of the infamous Georgia Tann; the woman known to have stolen poor children from shanty boats off the Mississippi River to wealthy families or possibly worse! Chronicling a particular families journey, this caused me to research the truth behind this fictional account. https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/537866/before-we-were-yours-by-lisa-win... #ucflae3414f17
I knew I'd enjoy this thriller by the author of the Twilight series when she dedicated the book to Jason Bourne. Government/spy thrillers are so intriguing and this one does not disappoint! #ucflae3414f17
I am fascinated by WWII books and this was excellent. It told the story of women sent to Ravensbruck, the only all women concentration camp of the war. Heartwrenching! https://nypost.com/2016/05/08/the-women-tortured-by-nazi-doctors-and-the-america... This link takes you to a story of the real women and the heiress who saved them! #ucflae3414f17
I read this because I wanted to have it done before the movie came out. This is an example of the book being MUCH better than the movie however, Kate and Idris were wonderful! I didn't want to put this one down! #ucflae3414f17
A wonderful book with a movie that brings the characters to life. A true classic! #ucflae3414f17

"He is the greatest whose strength carries up the most hearts by the attraction of his own." I found this quote to be one of the most powerful from the book. Outer beauty or lack thereof is fleeting but your inner beauty is forever and that's the message that I took away from this book. Be beautiful on the inside! #ucflae3414f17 #wonder
