This is a weird novella. In all honesty, it‘s a bizarre format, told from the perspective of Cornwell‘s popular characters as they make holiday meals and enjoy time off.

Did I need to read this? Not particularly. But it was good to see Scarpetta, Marino & Lucy outside of their work lives investigating serial murders and terrorist attacks.
