This MF, Blue Peter Best Picture Book To Read Aloud award winner is a beautiful story about a mouse who is clever enough to scare away predators, even the Gruffalo! By performing a RT (http://www.grandviewlibrary.org/archives/2004/12/readers_theater.html), students can build fluencies with graduated levels of support for practice and performance (UDL 5.3).

OliviaBuck EL strategy 16- integrate speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities aligns with this RT because EL students are offered support to participate in the reading of this book. #ucflae3414sp21 3y
DrSpalding Olivia, you truly understand how to align English learner and universal design principles to the excellent books you have selected for this project. I am so happy that you like readers theater as a teaching strategy and hope you will use this with your future students. 3y

Came home to some #bookmail for my small fry today! I'm excited for us both, this will be my first time reading any of them. (The feet belong to Haymitch, he was excited about the mail too.)

Obviously aimed at young children but so cute! Had lots of different activities to keep a child amused

EchoLogical I love the Gruffalo, it's one of my favorite books to read during outreach! 6y
