ESOL strategy 5 - Teach technical vocabulary supporting key concepts. Teaching vocabulary words before for reading “All of the Water in the World” will allow the student to relate the meaning of the word to the text.

DrSpalding Word searches can be helpful vocabulary tools. Remember that not all text that rhymes is considered poetry. This seems like it is factual, non-fiction. What a great book to incorporate into a bodies of water social studies/geography unit plan. 4y

All the Water in the World is a Poetry picture book written by George Ella Lyon. It explains all about water, the different forms we can find it in and how water is not “made” but instead it is found in many ways. I think this would be a good science book to read when discussing liquids.
