Ghosts of Tupelo Landing
Ghosts of Tupelo Landing | Sheila Turnage
8 posts | 6 read | 13 to read
The eagerly anticipated followup to the Newbery honor winner and "New York Times" bestseller, "Three Times Lucky" "Mo LoBeau one half of the (probably) world-famous Desperado Detective Agency is back! " When Miss Lana winds up the mortified owner of an old inn with an unidentified ghost in the fine print, Mo s itching to take the case. Plus, a "historical" ghost might make for some much needed Extra Credit in history. Who s haunting the old inn? And why? Mo and Dale set out to solve their second big case only to find the inn might not be the only thing in Tupelo Landing haunted by the past. A laugh out loud, ghostly, Southern mystery that can be enjoyed by readers visiting Tupelo Landing for the first time, as well as those who are old friends of Mo and Dale. "A rollicking sequel." "Wall Street Journal" "An irresistible Southern narrator a literary descendant of Scout Finch of "To Kill a Mockingbird."" "Newsday" on "Three Times Lucky""

Today was a long day of #audiocleaning - my husband and I started a top to bottom spring cleaning of our house. I listened to a fun middle grade mystery and he listened of boring political stuff 🤷‍♀️
Now that the kids are sleeping and he‘s at work, I get to reward myself with some #audiocrochet. I started another blanket, despite already being in the middle of three...

I read this with my kids at bedtime - likable characters, amusing dialogue and a unique storyline. My fifth grade son gives it five stars. #BedtimeBookClub

Was going to throw this up for #nakedhardcovers yesterday, but as it's purple, I saved it for today. Wonderful adventure for everyone who wishes investigating hauntings could have gotten them extra credit in school.

Is the old inn haunted? Mo, Dale, and the new boy in town are determined to find out. A story about a town packed with quirky characters who are as wise as they are funny.

Joanne1 I read another in this series earlier this year. Very sweet tweenie novels. 7y
Nebklvr @Joanne1 4-6 grade probably. No older than that. But so fun! 7y
JazzFeathers I'm reading ghosts these days too 😄 7y

"Miss Lana doesn't drive as a public courtesy"...sorry, I am not that courteous, watch out!
