I needed something light and funny, a palate cleanser, and thought the free iBook of the week might be the thing. But it starts with a bride punching down the bearer of bad news when she's stood up at the altar, and it's presented as comedy relief. Can you imagine a role reversal here? Groom bloodies nose of maid of honour because the bride got cold feet? 😕 I'm not sure I'm going to get along with this book.
