rretzler I immediately honed in on the tagged book. It is a series that came out long ago that has been updated through the years. It is 12 books that are supposed to grow with a child as each volume contains age appropriate stories! While growing up, my family had an edition from the 40s when my mother and aunt were growing up and I purchased a more recent set for my kids. What a great memory for me! Thanks for tagging it! 😄 5y
Jilly6183 @rretzler I had no idea. It sounds like a really great series, I'll have to check it out! 5y
rretzler It‘s a lot of classic old stories, so if you can‘t find them - they have been out of print for some time, I‘m sure you‘ve probably read many of the stories already. Mother Goose, Shakespeare, The Water Babies, Robert Louis Stevenson, Wordsworth, Hans Christian Andersen, The Adventures of Baron Münchhausen, The City Mouse and the Country Mouse, Edward Lear and many, many more stories, poems and fables like that. 5y

All of this is a guess but here goes...
1. 90% or higher ebooks, 1% audio, paperback 4%, hardcover 4%
2. I borrow very little, 2% at best
3. Between my kindle and print- upwards of 20,000 😳
4. Audible and Comixology
5. No
6. A comfort- having only a few unread books would bother me
7. Not me- I'm finicky about odd stains on books so I rarely do used or library books
8. I rarely buy full priced any more as I shop kindle sales
@Kaye

Kaye Thank you for taking time to answer. 🙂. Wow, that is an amazing number of Kindle books ! That might be the highest I‘ve ever heard of anyone having. Do they all fit on one Kindle ? Maybe keeping them in the Cloud would free up space for them. The most I‘ve ever had on mine might be about 400 some. I‘m glad you have a system that works best for you. 👍 6y
Debiw781 @Kaye That total is both kindle and print. I used to buy a ton of new print plus I went to several conventions. Never mind all the random used books I find buried in the different boxes (I weed those out when I find them). And no, all of my kindle books won't fit on the kindle itself- I'm a huge user of the cloud for them. 6y
Kaye I guess I never had enough Kindle books at one time to see how many would fit. You sure won‘t run out of reading material anytime soon 📚 6y
Debiw781 @Kaye I'm not sure exactly how many it will hold but at a certain point my kindles have gotten sluggish over the years unless I delete to the cloud. My mom is on my account too so she also buys quite a bit of discount books. 6y
Kaye Yea, that might make your Kindle run slower if it gets too full. I‘m not sure. That‘s nice if you and your mom can share a huge library like that. 🙂 6y
