pickLisa Kleypas is good. I don‘t think it‘s her best but still good. This was a quick light read that always feels fresh after a few heavy reads. My #bookspinbingo board looks pretty good I think! 😅

This book plays with your emotions so much! Maddy is a headstrong woman who is engaged to a 50+ year old man who she doesn‘t like. So she sets out to ruin herself and falls in love instead. Logan blocks off his emotions and tries to not fall in love with Maddy who he is naive and innocent and not his usual type.

pickI always love books by Lisa Kleypas and this one did not disappoint. Maddy is a wonderfully strong woman who is trying to take control of her life while Logan is man who just wants to left alone. When life catches up with them, they have to figure out how to proceed. I love Maddy and how she handles the curve balls that life throws at her and the strength that she finds within herself.
