I finished this book in December, but am just getting around to a review. While picking up a reserve at the Library, I noticed this small book in a display of Christmas books. It was too appealing not to take home with me. Louisa May Alcott wrote the three short stories as a contribution to a literary publication created by five of her fans, the Luken girls. Heartwarming, sentimental, gentle, uplifting. Just what I wanted for the Holidays.

@ozma.of.oz is hosting a set-your-own goals #Adventathon for this month. For this challenge, I'm going to focus on books I own, as I frequently get distracted by library and Kindle Unlimited books this time of year!!

Three stories that centres around Christmas with moral lessons to warm the heart. A lonely orphan girl who found care and love in a family; a compassionate girl who shows that doing good is more important than material things; a tale from a horse. First two stories are sweet, though old-fashioned, the third one didn‘t do anything for me. Interesting back story about these being the lost short stories of the author, which have been rediscovered.
