Fairy Mom and Me
Fairy Mom and Me | Sophie Kinsella
2 posts | 4 read | 3 to read
Fans of Sophie Kinsella's sparkling humor will love her first ever illustrated series for young readers about the charming adventures of a mother-daughter fairy duo! Ella Brook can't wait to grow up, because one day she will become a fairy and have her own sparkly wings and a teacher on Fairy Tube, just like her mom! Until then, Ella has to learn by watching her mom in action. But sometimes spells go wrong, and Ella's mom can never seem to remember the right magic codes on her Computawand. A lot of the time, it's up to Ella to come to the rescue. Does she have what it takes to be a fairy one day? Or will there be more glitches than glitter?

Starting this short little read today while I play Elder Scrolls Online.

It's a kind of bad anxiety day. I just sent off my third application for the week and it always leaves me feeling like I'm finishing a marathon. So today will be a day reserved for vegging out a bit. 😊

Pickpick

Y'all. This is the cutest book, okay? As I read this out loud, my kids were giggling, and acting out scenes, and becoming convinced that I'm a fairy too. Amelia made me promise to make pink cupcakes with her, and she wants to give this book ALL the stars, not just five. We've read the third story, Betteridoo!, together so many times, I nearly have it memorized. Also, she sleeps with the book like it's a stuffed animal. It gets all the stars!
