My life has become so weird I‘m barely reading at all at the moment. My anxiety is managing but like ~managing~ rather than doing well. Italo Calvino is probably my favourite writer and I can always rely on adoring his writing. These stories about the seasons changing through the eyes of a man in 50s and 60s Italy was exactly what I needed

alisiakae Much the same here. Hugs! 💕 5y
vivastory I love Calvino & have found him even more comforting lately. I just recently bought 5y

Marcovaldo is such an amazing character. His unique perspective on life is always welcome and the structure of the book, broken up into short stories arranged by season, is fantastic. One of the only books that can always cheer me up.

BookBrunchRepeat I didn't realize he'd written so many books! 8y
Natasha.C.Barnes I covet your Calvino collection. 7y

Read this book when you're down. It will make you feel better.

Jdw.weeks @Kirstin that's exactly what I do! I also like to read sections from different seasons when it seems like the winter is just dragging on. 8y
