This is the 8th in a detective series, but I haven‘t read the others. This was just picked up some time, probably in a charity shop! However I didn‘t really need to know anything about the previous books apart from the fact that the detectives work together 🤷🏼‍♀️

It was a good story tying in lots of threads. Though there were some bits that didn‘t seem to add up with the killer. I would have liked a bit more about them.

Hundred pages in I discovered that I was reading the 8th book of a series. But by then it was already to late.
I was caught in Montanari's Web and just couldn't put the book down.

I will most definitely go find and read all his other published work. I discovered a new favorite.

Loved this book. It was a super quick read, I barely put it down all weekend. I love this mystery series and find that it is completely underrated. It definitely deserves to be talked about way more than it is. For sure recommend!
