June was totally my month of #audiogaming as it is the annual grindfest event for one of my games. I managed to finish the entire Shadow Campaign series which I thoroughly enjoyed. What I did not managed to do was read my BookSpin selections so that will have to carry over into July.

pickAs the conclusion of a five book arc I felt the ending was pretty satisfying. We see just how far the characters have come over the events of the story and the resolution seemed fitting. I think Jane got a little hard done by but in general I was happy with how things played out. Will definitely look for more by this author in future.
pickOverall I found this series quite a lot of fun. One of the POV characters was more than a little frustrating but, at that, neither the story nor the other characters let him off the hook. I thought this last book made a pretty satisfying conclusion.
pickA satisfying conclusion to one of my all-time favourite series. The excitement did not let up for a second and I am in awe of how Wexler managed to fit so much into this book without messing up the pacing. The ending felt a little rushed but I enjoyed it nevertheless.

[Spoiler] The short snippet at the end about what Janus was getting upto makes me DESPERATE for a book/series focusing on that. He is my fav char after all.
