A Gracious Plenty by Sheri Reynolds is always one I recommend. Just a gorgeous story.
The Maisie Dobbs series is one I share a lot. Jacqueline Winspear is a phenomenal historical mystery writer.
My Antonia by Willa Cather is arguably one of the most beautiful books ever written.
