Whatever you do, don‘t call this gargoyle Goyle—he hates it, & will tell you it‘s not his name,& furthermore, he‘s not a gargoyle, he‘s a Grotesque. Penhallow is a guardian tasked w/protecting his domain, & his wards within it, from undead Nethergkin. Everything is great until a new family moves in & trouble begins. Full of wit & humor & just enough creepiness, I‘d say this book is perfect for young readers not quite ready for The Graveyard Book.

New books into the library today which means its time to preview some books. Tonight‘s read is a MG I‘ve heard good things about. (And I do happen to be a huge fan of Gaiman‘s The Graveyard Book so it sure sounds as if I‘ll like it. Can‘t wait to find out!)
