This one was rather sparse on the info, unfortunately.

I‘m having a rather slow month. Still #reading 📖 + 🎧 Maya, 🎧Firekeeper‘s Daughter, 📱Howl, and 📖 Chamber of Secrets. Drarry fanfic has taken over my life though. Sorry, not sorry! 😍

While digging a new sewer in 2005, construction workers in Albany NY discovered a human skull. The coroner determined it was old & archaeologists were called in. They soon realized workers had uncovered a long forgotten slave cemetery. This MG book details the excavation & study of the cemetery & the analysis of the human remains & what both revealed about the lives of slaves in 1700s New York. An informative book sure to interest young readers.
