Mary DiNunzio has become a big-time business-getter at Rosato & Associates. But the last person she expects to walk into her office one morningin mile-high stilettosis super-sexy Trish Gambone, her high-school rival. Back when Mary was becoming the straight-A president of the Latin Club and Most Likely to Achieve Sainthood, Trish was the head Mean Girl, who flunked religion and excelled at smoking in the bathroom. These days, however, Trish needs help. She is terrified of her live-in boyfriend, an abusive, gun-toting drug dealer for the South Philly mob. Mary remembers the guy from high school, too. She had a major crush on him. Then Trish vanishes, a dead body turns up in an alley, and Mary is plunged into a nightmare that threatens her job, her family, and even her life. She goes on a one-woman crusade to unmask the killer, and on the way finds new love in a very unexpected place.

Mehso-so

I became a fan of Lisa Scottoline when I met her in 2018 on her book tour for After Anna. I was immediately drawn to her warm, excitable personality. She tells great stories, in person and her writing. I love all her books I‘ve read. Sadly, Lady Killer is my least favorite. ☹️

Decided that I am too old and too bookish to spend another season reading on that rickety old hand-me-down lounger. Bring on the sunshine and all the books! 🤓 😎

When a coworker comes in with a stack and says, “I was at the store, and I thought you might like these.” 🥂 Cheers to great friends, and kind human beings!

I highly recommend any book by Lisa Scottoline. She touches on tough topics and the story plots are amazing. The characters are phenomenal as well. This is an awesome book but I also suggest The Rosato and Dinunzio series although there are some that are just Rosato and Associates but have the same characters! Perfect for murder mystery and legal thriller fans!

Today‘s book haul is thanks to my mother in law. Her college was getting rid of all their fiction books so I scored there & @ the book sale with @CoverToCoverGirl 📚💖 #ilovebooks #thankgodforbooksales #momsareaweaome

Here's the #LisaScottoline stack for the library's Summer Reading Program Level Three prizes. I think I'll divvy this up though it'll be uneven. Which 2 should I make one bundle, and which 3 should I make the other bundle? #LitsyLovesLibraries

Mariposa_Bookworm Lady Killer and Daddy's little Girl should be one bundle. Just a suggestion. 😁 7y
Char I concur with @Mariposa_Bookworm 's suggestion 7y
drokka I loved her books then for some reason I stopped reading them. Probably Uni got in the way. 7y

Pickpick

Great, fast-paced mystery with awesome female protagonists. I read it in an afternoon after seeing it recommended on Book Riot. I will now have to read the whole series.
