Okay, y‘all... I‘ve got to take a short moment to brag. My 7-year-old complained that he didn‘t have a Kindle like his sister, so I gave him my old Kindle Touch and downloaded some books from Overdrive. He spent the last 30 minutes reading his first chapter book! He‘s been a bit of a reluctant reader because he‘s a perfectionist who doesn‘t like to do things he hasn‘t mastered, so this was a HUGE win!! #raisingreaders #futurebooknerd

theokiereader @Reviewsbylola It‘s amazing how fast is happens. My daughter struggled for a while, and then a light switch just seemed to flip. She went from easy readers to 5th- and 6th-grade books over the course of one summer. 7y
