4⭐️ It‘s about a specific style of embroidery that use geometric patterns to not only create art, but mend everyday use items like jeans, jackets, etc. The author heavily goes through making your own patterns, how they are drawn, and the easiest way to complete each pattern. As someone who has embroidered since childhood, I Liked seeing these new techniques and the unique patterns that seem fresh and new while being classic and useful.
Lindy Beautiful and useful — a winning combination. 😊 6y
julesG OMG, I soooo need this. I love visible mending and adore the Japanese style. 6y
LibrarianRyan @julesG you do need this. It‘s really cool. Not out yet but soon. 6y

julesG The Japanese even mend china/dishes in a very visible way. I still have to get the materials to tackle a broken plate the right way. Did you get a physical ARC or an eARC through NetGalley? 6y
LibrarianRyan @julesG E galley. I have my name in for a polio galley but doubt I get picked. 6y
julesG 🙈🙈🙈🙈 It's on my NetGalley shelf. This is embarrassing. How did I forget about it? 6y
LibrarianRyan @julesG I did too. I have a new iPad and had to redo load everything fresh. So I saw it. 6y
